A little bit about myself - Holly Young’s talent was discovered at the age of 3, when she drew recognizable portraits of her family. She continued to excel with her talents by making cover drawings for her school’s publications. Her mediums of choice are charcoal, watercolor, airbrushing, styrofoam, clay, cement, metal, and photograpy. In high school she won many awards, but the one that cause the most exposure was winning the Gold Key in the Nebraska Scholastic Art Awards. The reward for this achievement was her art work being displayed at the Sheldon Art Gallery in Lincoln, Ne, Josyln Art Museum in Omaha, Ne, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Through her careers in welding and auto collision industry, her trade skills have become incorporated into her art. Holly continues to display her art nationwide.
